Playhouse Disney's Higglytown is a place in which everyday heroes help kids explore new things while staying safe. The Higglytown kids are on the move within Higglytown and beyond in this 5-episode compilation that begins with Eubie, Wayne, Twinkle, Kip, and Fran heading to Higglybiggly city to see the live "Happy Hairy Higgly Monsters" show in Higglyworld. While there, the gang discovers that there many, many sights to see in Higglybiggly, but when their sightseeing threatens to make them late for the show, it's a Higglybiggly Hero taxi driver that gets them to the theater on time. Other episodes find the kids spending the day on the open seas, at the beach, helping launch a new hotdog stand, and watching the air ships at the local airport. In each new adventure, the Higglytown kids learn something new with the assistance of everyday Higglytown Heroes like a tugboat and submarine captain, bus driver, and air traffic controller. Higgly Town's Heroes on the Move, is an excellent DVD. It teaches children about the different types of transportation. VERY educational. my 4 year old daughter LOVES it!!!

simple career exposure
An excellent way for toddlers to learn about those that help them in daily living.

Great Movie
My kids watch this over and over. It is filled with several short episodes instead of one long one. If your kids like Higglytown, they are sure to like this DVD. It actually has many of the stories that are shown on tv so it is familiar to my little ones.
