Darker Alpine Path
These journals follow Maud from the happier seasons of her life to the darker areas which will continue through her death. Her husband's melancholia continues and they eventually leave their home and move to a new area. Meanwhile she continues to fight against her publisher and the old settlement against her husband for a car accident. While I enjoyed reading these journals, this one you can tell was heavily edited by her as she put them into her journals... which is sad. I think I'd like to of known the unedited versions.
