That rubber-faced funny man Ernest P. Worrell, the All-American Knuckle Head, finally shows us who put the "dip" in diploma. Ernest, as the Chippewa Falls school custodian, must complete his high school education, or he's out of a job. His only friends are the lowly marching band members and two mad science teachers who give Ernest a little I.Q. booster from the still-experimental "Sub-Atomic Brain Accelerator." All looks swell for our hero until the villainous football team sabotages the "Brain Accelerator." The action never stops when this wacky bumpkin uses his pumpkin.
