Well disapointed could have been great2
Yeah the vids are great however the 5.1 is very poor in most cases it just an additional guitar you hear overlayed and makes it sound stupid.
Going to leave my system to upmix as it does a better job imo
The censorship wtf is that about? this is metallica for christ sakes the fans deserve uncensored with a parental guidence sticker on it!
nowhere on the box does it say that they are censored.

i bought this being a fan back in the day when metallica knew how to rite great songs and shoot stunning videos and am well disapointed with it.
All the vids we know are there so this is a plus point as is the 2from1 as it it fantastic (i allready own the vhs video) and the upmix on this is not bad on this one.
As for it the really poor upmix to 5.1 on the rest of them should not have been done its really anoying that you get the odd guitar riff that was not there before.

As to recomending it well its dificult in my opinion as you can see uncut ones on late night tv but if you want to own them you cant!

Buy it if you are a collector and have to have it, dont buy it if you want to see the vids as they was meant to be shown.

FYI4
Just wanted to point out a couple of examples of the editing/censorship of the videos. In "Hero of the Day", some of the shots of the main character in bed with his girlfriend were cut out and replaced with shots of the program on the TV. And in "Turn the Page", the nudity was blurred out for our protection ;). There may be more, but those are 2 that I noticed.
