You can't "charge" in the jungle
CAVALRY COMMAND is the type of movie shown during typical 1960s double-features, especially at drive in theaters.
SYNOPSIS--
During their 1902 occupation of the Philippines, American cavalrymen meet stiff opposition from guerillas led by Capt. Magno Maxalla. When he's beleaguered by jungle bandits, Magno is captured by the Americans and imprisoned temporarily. After his release, the fanatic captain burns down a school built by the cavalry, which in turn antagonizes his small band of men. They desert him, and Magno plans to continue his war against the Americans singlehandedly.
Also recommended--
CAVALRY CHARGE ("The Last Outpost") (1951) is a more traditional horse soldier film. Ronald Reagan and Bruce Cabot are two brothers competing for the same woman (Rhonda Fleming) amidst the chaos of Indian attacks.
