Customer Reviews

An American Original5
Doug Kershaw is an American original, right alongside Billy Joe Shaver, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson . . . music that is the real deal. I own every Doug Kershaw record made. I am now updating my collection with the CDs. I thought that they would never be reissued in CD format. I'm so glad that they did! I never tire of the eclectic Ragin' Cajun. He sounds as great and vital to me now as he did when I first started buying his records back in the 70's.

CD remake of classic Kershaw LP's5
I am very glad that LP's are being released on CD's! I have a complete collection of Doug Kershaw's LPs (vinyl's for the younger set)and digitized them for my own use, but the quality can't match that of remastered music on a CD. Doug Kershaw's music is modern Cajun, unique in his style, and unmatched in my humble opinion. He's a master of the fiddle and darn good on the Cajun accordian. Many songs on this CD are found no where else.
