A Must-Have Accessory
The Orion deluxe collimator is a must have if you own a large aperture reflector, especially if you transport your scope. I can now obtain near perfect collimation in less than three minutes!

A Time Consuming Task Made Simple
Orion's deluxe laser collimater doesn't do anything that you couldn't do without it. What it does do is make alignment of your reflector scope so quick and easy that you'll find yourself touching up the adjustment frequently. I was amazed at the improvement in image quality. My scope (which travels in the truck to dark(er) sky sites out of the city lights, sufers from the bumps and bounces on the roads. A quick alignment after setting up gives the best images my scope is capable of producing. It literally takes no more than five minutes to get the optics perfect. I highly reccomend this tool to anyone who would like to get the best from their scope.

This very accurate laser collimator achieved in seconds what I couldn't after hours of trial and error using a Cheshire Collimator.

Collimating a Newtonian with this gadget is a quick, and even fun, process. You can be at the back of the telescope and look at the results, instead of having to go back and forth between the eyepiece and the collimation knobs.
