Lower quality machining.
I haven't used this set long enough to be able to comment on the optical quality. However, the action of the polarizer is extremely stiff when compared to the Hoya Moose polarizer I bought at the same time. I may have simply received a defective one. If not, then I would have to say that the manufacturing tolerances of the Chinese made Opteka polarizer are markedly inferior to those of the Hoya model. I gambled on a lower rated manufacturer to save a few bucks and apparently I got what I paid for. Perhaps it will loosen with use. 3 stars because the set was cheap and I wasn't expecting perfection.

bargain for starters and intermediates
prompt delivery, well built, very usable. every lens needs protection and this provides it with the uv filter.
polarizer works quite well with good definition. a must have for outdoor shots especially nature shots. pricing very competetive.can't justify paying for higher priced filters as an amateur. share and enjoy the moments & memories.Smiles beat stats and specs anyday.

I recieved Bower Instead of Opteka.
I wanted Opteka High definition circular Polarizing filter(multi coated) but I recieved a filter from Bower. Not sure why this happened. Also am not sure if Bower is good or bad. The seller should check before sending the Item. This makes the seller less credible.

w.r.t Bower that I received, I have used the UV filter in couple of my snaps.(sun set snaps). They are nt perfect which is the reason why I had selected Opteka Multicoated Glass filter kit.

This sort of business is not acceptable at all.
