Usable version of Sones de Michoacan5
If you like the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico's Sones Antiguos de Michoacan you will love the last 3 tracks on this CD: 2nd Jarabe, 1st Jarabe & 3rd Jarabe with Diana. As any folklorico dancer knows obtaining usable music of the BFdM is difficult & these last tracks are nice arrangements.

Be cautious! This is not what it appears to be.1
If you are looking for an audio selection for a sing-along, a Spanish teaching tool or just a CD where you can hear and understand the words that are being sung, this CD is not for you. This program is more etherial, orchestral, elevator music. It is not at all the typical 'marachi' music in the typical marichi style. It contains the typical marichi songs, however. My Spanish teacher wife could barely make out the words of common songs she learned in her training. This CD can only be compared with the Vienna Choir Boys singing South of the Border. Audio quality of the reproduction is acceptable, but the content and composition are not at all what they appear to be from the information listed on Amazon (not that it is their fault). The labeling of the CD jacket is devoid of information other than a painting of mariachi statues (men, not boys) and a list of the songs on the disk. When the title says "Boys of Mexico" that is totally correct. Young boys are the vocalists. Don't avoid this disk, just be careful.

Bad1
although the shipper was very prompt in delivery. The item is of terrible quality. It appears that it was copied from a monoural type of recording and they tried to make it stereo.

Very bad recording
