really sexy stuff
Many of these songs will be familiar to the average listener, but you've probably never heard them arranged for trombone. Joseph Alessi is no ordinary trombone player. What makes him special is that he sings through his instrument, making the music more personal and engaging for the listener than what you might expect. There are a variety of accompaniments, including piano, harp, and jazz band. I really like the track with the Julliard Trombone Choir. What a kick! Get this CD. You won't be sorry, and the price is right.
Awesome! Bravo!
This album is fantastic! Beautifully played! The CD tracks are well organised from classical pieces at the start to contemporary pieces as the tracks changes. Sexy music, versatile trombone "colour" from our great Joseph Alessi. You will get to hear the different tones and styles played not only across the pieces, but also within the piece itself (e.g. Variations on Napoli). Highly recommended to everyone, well-worth piece of CD. You will not regret buying it. it is purely awesome, awesome and awesome! kudos! =)
Suprisingly AMAZING!!
Well, if I wasn't a big Joseph Alessi fan before, I sure am now! On this CD, Joe shows such a wide range of technique, expression and style. Highly recommended for any and all fans of the trombone!
