His art immediatly transports you into new dimensions of form and color. He's one of today's strongest digital inspirations. --Sparth - Concept designer/illustrator UBISOFT Entertainment

The content in this DVD is great if you are interested in the subject of the digital painting process. Ryan Church is a master is this field, you'll be able to see how he uses the sofware. It also is good to watch thehe brushes he uses and how he has created them. The only problem is that you will have to watch the DVD in your computer, it doesn't in run in a normal DVD player.

Great Introduction to Corel Painter5
This is a excellent dvd for those who want to learn Corel Painter and get an good idea on how digital paintings like this are created. This dvd is divided into two parts. The first part is a tour of the program itself where the viewer will learn about the workspace, menus, using brushes, layers, papers, and textures. The second part shows Ryan doing an actual painting from start to finish, where he shows the viewer how he uses the program and demonstrates the information that the viewer was shown in the first part of the DVD.

Also, you can view each lecture seperately and watch them on quicktime. Just make sure that you can view hidden files on your computer. When you do that, search for the lectures on the DVD. Their is a hidden folder that has all the lectures that can be viewed in quicktime. Something I didn't realize at first but after finding out, being able to pause and rewind has been quite helpful. :\ It'll also help take care of that croping issue. ;)

Awesome!5
I learned how to better tweak my brushes, how to easily paint textures, and how Ryan Church streamlines his workflow. Very worth it.
