Compatibility Warning
This DVD drive has a combination USB/PowerPort plug that is incompatible with the new Samsung Q1U Ultra UMPC. It only works with older versions of the UMPC.

Works as advertised
Works fine, as advertised, the other guys who bought this for Q1 Ultra should have read the specs before buying this drive...

For me this product has 2 unique features for using with my Q1P:

- Plug-and-play, no external power source required since it connects to the Q1P power output;
- Very Light and portable.

Cons:
- I had some issues in installing the bundled software (Cyberlink DVD Suite 5.0) but I got quick responses from their web tech support;
- This is not the latest available software version;
- Hard to find any usable information at the Samsung web site.

Doesn't work with new Q1
Wish I had seen the previous review on this item. Can't understand how they keep marketing this item with the new Q1 and it doesn't work. I checked the compatibility of this item very carefully, and nothing indicated that it didn't work with the new Q1. How do they not sell a regular USB DVD. Have to return the item.
