This tool is factory set for the installation of Bruce Natural Reflections 5/16-inch flooring. By using ½-inch through 1-1/2-inch length, 7/32-inch crown, 18-gauge staples the SX150-BHF-2 helps prevent damage to the flooring. Worked like a charm
Worked flawlessly to lay 600sq/ft of 3/8" solid Brazillian Redwood from BellaWood. Make sure you grab this gun for the hard solid woods as I rented the LHF97125-2 first and it wouldn't push the 20ga staples all the way through.
A must have foor thinner hardwood floors
I used this gun to install about 100 sq feet of Bruce/Armstrong Natural Reflections Oak flooring. It made the install go super smooth with no major issues. Jammed maybe once and it took a few minutes to get a feel for it. Once you get going it is amazing. I highly recommend it.
Too much plastic
The stapler worked ok, but the plastic shoe broke within 5 minutes after I started using it. Sears now has a Craftsman stapler which is made better and costs about 20% less.
