The Early Almodovar
This CD contains two early Almodovar films: "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" and "Dark Habits." Both are very entertaining in their own way: the
first, a melodrama, stars Carmen Maura in a wonderfully hectic performance.
The second one reveals the early instances of the director's taste for the
eccentric and the bizarre. Almodovar has the ability to take the conventions of society and turn them on their heads, upside down. It is a
trademark that he develops consistently in his subsequent films. If you
enjoy this kind of artistic risk-taking, you will be delighted with these
two films.

Awesome Set!
This is a great set for both Almodovar fans and people who have just heard about him. These two movies are in classic Almodovar style. It's a fantastic starter set.
