Carolina Moon, starring Claire Forlani (TV’s CSI: NY), Oliver Hudson (TV’s Rules of Engagement), and Emmy and Golden Globe® nominee Jacqueline Bissett (The Deep, Rich and Famous), debuted on Lifetime Television.
Tory (Forlani), who has a gift for psychic visions, returns to her hometown to make peace with her troubled past and put to rest the ghost of Hope, her brutally murdered childhood friend. She soon discovers that Hope's death was only the first in a string of murders that have continued every year since that terrible day and the sociopath has been waiting patiently for Tory's return. She now has two choices: use her supernatural powers to catch the killer or end up his next victim under a Carolina Moon.

This is just a "Note to K.S. Perry" about SPOILERS!!!
Dear K.S. Perry,
In the future, would you please warn readers of your reviews when you're going to tell the ending of a story?!! Something like "CAUTION: CONTAINS SPOILERS" is the norm, I believe.
For anyone who hasn't yet read Perry's review and DOES NOT want to know the ending, do not read beyond the 1st three paragraphs of that review.
Nora Roberts Fan
Having already read the book, I was expecting to be disaapointed, but I wasn't. The lead characters were true to the characters in the book and so were the supporting characters. I thought Wade was a bit dorky, but it didn't detract from the movie.
As with all adaptations, there needed to be some rationalisation of characters and it was very well done. The important aspects of the characters that were dropped were inherited by someone else and it worked well.
This is a movie that would be enjoyed whether you had read the book or not. It's easy to follow - not too convoluted and even though it's a romance, there's still some intrigue in the solving of the murder.
I loved it and would recommend it, regardless of whether you are a Nora Roberts fan.
Pretty good movie
I just rented this movie to watch and found it entertaining. The quality of the DVD is good. The acting in my opinion was also pretty good. Overall a good film to watch, and if you are a Nora Roberts Fan you may want to own it.
