Best Burner I've Had
this burner is the greatest burner i have had so far. burns whole cd's in 3 minutes, and whole dvd's in 7. the greatest product i've bought so far from Amazon.com

It works with Nero
First of all, the drive would be recognized right away in Windows XP when plugged, so no need of driver (if any).
It has not worked in Windows Explorer. I meant you could not drag things to the drive because the drive appeared as a DVD-RAM drive. It worked fine with Nero Essential 7.
It made noise, but it burned fast a 4.7gb disc in about 9 minutes at a 8x speed. I have not tried its max speed yet.

Great external dvd writer!
I am very satisfied with this product, with the decent price it is very fast in dvd burning. i strongly recommend it.
