Not as it appears
After reading the other reviews here and seeing the picture, I expected that this necklace would be a very dark blue that would appear black at times. The necklace I received was a deep purple, so it seems that the color of this piece of jewelry might be variable. I would not have returned the necklace over this color difference--it was still a lovely, lightweight necklace that's modestly priced. The design, if not the color, was the same as the picture. I chose to return it because the small clasp makes it very difficult to put on and take off the necklace. Though I did see that it has a spring-ring clasp in the product description, I did not expect the clasp to be so small and hard to keep open. If you have arthritis or just have difficulty with tricky clasps, this necklace is not for you.

A very happy Mom
I just received this necklace. It is exquisite. The picture online does not do it justice. The blue gold stone is a nice dark blue, with tiny flecks of gold. I am very pleased and am quite sure my daughter will be, too! Although, she may just be getting one for her birthday in April and I may have just bought myself a present....

Heart Collection
This is one of my heart pendants that I purchased for the collection that I have. I like it because it is a bit different from the others. The blue is so dark that it appears black, but wearing it with a blue blouse, etc., does pop out the blue color of the necklace. CeeCee
