While on duty, David Vaughn (Messner) and Victor Hernandez (Huertas), two emergency paramedics receive a call from a young girl whose mother has lost consciousness in a deserted area, but they soon discover that the life they have to save may be their own. Kidnapped and locked in an isolated building, David tries to discover the truth behind a secret cult and their beliefs. As Victor's beliefs are challenged and the fine-line between religion and science are crossed, David must find a way to escape and get out, before "they" get him. In a society where beliefs in religion and beliefs in science are constantly challenged, Believers explores the manipulative measures some use to take advantage of lost souls.

Customer Reviews
Decent acting, great storyline and brilliant ending!
Whilst browsing through the video store, deciding what to choose as my new release movie for the night I took a gamble and picked this film just for the sake of it and now I have no regrets. I thought the film missed a few things but it kept me in enough suspense to keep me watching and I was very satisfied with the ending. You won't be disappointed with this one people...give it a try.
Gooooood Movie!!
I really liked this movie. Every time a group like this pops up, in the back of my mind I always have a nagging question. "What if they're right?" This movie sort of approaches the movie from that standpoint. It's rather unique... I guarantee you, you have never seen anything like this... It's a must see!!
Not bad
I am a huge fan of The Blair Witch Project. I've been following Ed and Dan (the 2 creators) for the last few years and i'm very pleased they are releasing movies again. Ed's 2006 "Altered" was creepy no doubt, but a bit too gory for my tastes. Dan's movie, Believers, is much more minimal. The storyline is kinda refreshing in the sense that the movie doesn't actually revolve around some kinf of ghost or monster. The acting is decent, but the footage quality is rather murkey. All in all this is probably the best straight-to-DVD horror movie i've seen all year. The ending is rather impressive too.
