The Incredible Jimmy Smith
How has no one else reviewed this? I'll leave the musical details to someone who can better illuminate them to the world. Suffice to say, I love Jimmy Smith's music, and this is one low-down, groovy album. I reckon it a little to Kenny Burrell's Midnight Blue. It has that same blues quality where nothing is overplayed and every chord sounds like it was struck with a distinct purpose. I can't wait to get the partner album, Chicken Shack.
