Info - I have a cannon gl2 which does terrible in low lighting. So i purchased this light after needing something brighter than my small led light.

Pros - During the day (in low light situations) this item produces great and powerful light that is visible even in the day.

Cons - The light is way too bright at night, must by a soft box or this is almost pointless to use at night. Also the batter pack is very heavy and annoying. Lastly this light gets very hot and can be hassle for many reasons.

Conclusion - Save your money and buy the litepanel micro on here for about $295. Trust me, this light is wonderful and has a dimmer and does not heat up. That is my best advice.

i just used this light for the 1st time shooting a wedding with an Cannon xl1 inside a dark place and the light worked great. however it says it lasts 2 and a half hours but it only lasted about 45 minutes to my surprise. and the battery pack is extremely heavy and annoying. its a great light for the money just dont count on it for more then 45 minutes before having to charge it
