Album Description
Brand new studio album including a remix of "Do It Well" featuring Ludacris.

It would take a pretty good argument to deny that Jennifer Lopez is brave--nobody transitions from dance to film to music as boldly or as fluidly--but bravery doesn't factor much into her new disc, despite the title. And that's a good thing. On Brave, JLo busts out a batch of songs that don't challenge pop-appreciative ears--there's no cross-genre experimenting, no political point-making, and no self-serving, overblown ballads. In their place are well turned-out hooks (see "Mile in These Shoes," a song apt to cause ankle injuries in untold numbers of Jimmy Choo owners), bright production ("Hold It Don't Drop It" samples Tavares's groovealicious "It Only Takes a Minute"), and a voice very much in the mood to have a good time. "Stay Together," the opener, sets a happy, beat-heavy tone that holds up all album long--here's Jenny reminding the masses that monogamy need not be a buzz kill: "Stay together, it's the new break-up/Stay together, it's the new trend," she trills, and you believe her. Brave may not be the most groundbreaking record ever to climb the pop charts, but it's enough to convince you JLo's discs don't stint on substance. And it'll raise your pulse, too. --Tammy La Gorce
Customer Reviews
How can give this bad reviews?? --->4.5 Stars
I have to start off by sayin I;m beyond how far JLo has gone... this is much better than "This Is Me..Then" and maybe even "Rebirth". The production is top-notched, her lyrics seemed like it was actually written to match her voice and her life.
Outstanding Tracks:
Mile In These Shoes (needs to be the 2nd single)
Forever
Hold It Don't Drop It (a hot fly party track should be 3rd single)
Wrong When you're Gone (nice smooth r&b song--should be a 4th single)
All the tracks are excellent as well I don't even skip any tracks
To everyone with the bad reviews actually LISTEn to the whole album without skipping any tracks and you'll realize how great this is..JLO's still got it
Jennifer's Best
This is Jennifer's best album, its been out for more than a month now and I can't stop listening to it. "Wrong When You're Gone" is the best track, a mid tempo R&B ballad, it will give you butterflies in your stomach, trust me. "Forever" the second best track is an awesome Asian inspired R&B dance track, which is instantly memorable and has a great hook. Other great tacks are "Hold It Don't Drop It", "Never Gonna Give Up", "Mile In These Shoes", "Brave" and "Do It Will" Remix. Buy this album, you won't be dissapointed.
Enjoyable
I am enjoying this cd. While it is nothing earth shattering, the beats are good and the lyrics are positive.
