Customer Reviews

Excellent Ergonimic Compute Chair5
I have a herniated disk, so chairs like this work best for me. I can sit in it for hours and not get sore. I can also use the handles to do some of my stretches.

Assembly was relatively straightforward and it's quite sturdy. It has three different settings which are all quite different.

This is a really neat chair, much better to than the single angle wooden one I was using before. Also rolls a little, so it's easy to move around. Doesn't roll too much though, while you're on it, it stays put.

Highly recommended.

Well.....not what I had hoped for2
First off, when the product was delivered, the frame itself was scratched up as if it had been used before. That wasn't enough to warrant me sending it back and being out the return shipping and handling, but it was still an irritant since I paid $95 including shipping for what I believed was new equipment. There were no detailed instructions included that had step 1, step 2, etc. There was a one page information sheet showing a picture of the finished product with circles on the various parts and arrows showing the letter of the part. There was a legend in the upper left of the sheet that listed the individual screws and other parts by letter. You were just kind of on your own to interpret. I was missing some pieces. At that point I was ready to return it.

I contacted the seller and he was very nice and wanted a chance to send me additional pieces. I did make a point to tell him that the cross bars had been scratched up but since I wasn't buying it for appearance purposes I wouldn't require replacement bars. I requested and received the missing screw pieces and finished the chair assembly. When I first sat on it it seemed comfortable. I'm 5'2 115 pounds and I struggle with comfortable seat height adjustment and I have lower back problems. This chair was purchased as a work chair to relieve the lower back strain at the computer. It does ok for the back, but since there are no chair arms it seems to cause more stress on upper right shoulder and neck area when I use the mouse much. Another thing that is hard to deal with is the fact that over time my lower legs below the knee feel like they are going to sleep and the knees start to hurt after being pressed up against the knee pads. About an hour is about as long as I can stand and then I need to get up and shift around. I thought maybe I wasn't sitting right so I've tried various positions and used the minimal height adjustment options on the chair. I think I've got it as good as it can be. My regret is that I did not try a less expensive chair to determine if it would actually work before having purchased this one. I had high hopes so maybe I'm grading it harder than I should.
