Severus Snape Series 2 Harry Potter figurines
This figurine in particular is one I have sought after for a long time, and it really does deliver. The sculpting is fantastic, although I have complaint with the length of the cape. It prevents the figure from standing on a flat surface, even on its toy stand (which is inadequate). But the sculpting of the features is great. One point in particular, Ive heard of the paint differing from the actual picture displayed online and on the packaging, which is true. It is probably best to find a store version so you can see the final product itself. The version I received (twice, for I got a second one for a friend) gave Severus a strange grey five-o-clock shadow (ahem) well, his face looked dirty and unshaven, thats how I can best describe it. I imagine I can clean up and paint it myself, but why should anyone bother? The versions Ive seen in the store dont look like that. Maybe it was a later revision of the figures style, Im not sure. This in any case is a great figure, better than any ever done of the character. Plus it really looks like the actor. Id say only be careful with the wand, it is only a frail piece of plastic. If you put it in his hand, never remove it or risk it breaking. His legs dont articulate, his arms have limited movement and his head turns. Not much, but better than a stable figure. His legs may be a little misformed... mine seems to have a lame foot or something.

Who doesn't love Snape?
I love this action figure, and its incredible likeness to Alan Rickman's character! It's not as much a toy, in my opinion, but rather a small plastic statue of Snape. With the flowing robe, he appears in motion...very cool.
