Huge fan of Jr. Gong Finally Gets His Wish5
I've been trying to get a copy of this record for a few years now. I was stoked when I saw it available through Amazon a few weeks back and I can say that any Jr. Gong fan should snap it up pronto. It has numerous tracks from his dad's records that have some new innovations and lyrics and it all is done masterfully. It is surprising that Jr. Gong has only put two other records besides this one and numerous singles. If you are trying to find other stuff he has worked on you should get Stephen Marley's latest and I also highly recommend the record "Red Star Sounds Presents Def Jamiaca" which is an awesome mix of hip-hop and reggae.

I was Blown Away.5
I thought This was Damiens new CD when my friend lent it to me, then I realized it was his first release. I thought this CD was Leaps and Bounds better than Welcome To Jamrock. That Says alot because I really liked Jamrock. People will say "Oh, he's just using his fathers Riddim's and dubbing over them" Don't listen to crap like that. For one because Bob marley's beats were phat as hell, and for two his toasty flow sounds great over them. So who cares where the hell it came from just as long as it sounds good, and folks...It sounds SUPERB!

Mr. Marley, I am humbled by your gifts5
Mr. Marley, in the great Marley tradition, starts out with the easy tones we know of Marley dynasty. Damian Marley speaks the truth about social issues, peace, and consciousness. And the familiar refrain in "One Cup of Coffee, then I'll go" is an infectious, great song to sing along to. We need more music like this in the world. The CD is a complete statement, and while individual tunes are great to hear, like his other albums, it should be heard in its entirety. Too many people don't listen to CDs as a cohesive whole. Long live Marley Dynasty.
