Talk about meeting cute: the perky star of All She Wants for Christmas, Noelle, meets hunky stranger Justin because the gigantic blow-up snowman balloon she accidentally loosened in the town square comes crashing down on Justin's SUV. But no harm done, as this gently comic romance cues the viewer early on that there will be no heavy mental lifting in the film, which is a sweet valentine to the holidays, for the whole family. Noelle (played by Monica Keena, channeling a Dallas-era Charlene Tilton) is really named Judith, but her birthday's in December, ergo the nickname. And her teeny home town, Forest City, is sort of like Santa's workshop south of the North Pole--the biggest employer in the town is the local Christmas decoration company. So Christmas is never far from the minds of the locals. Noelle is trying to save the company, while making big plans to take her newly minted MBA to Wall Street. "While other girls were playing with dolls," she winsomely tells Justin, "I played with the stock market." As for Justin, he's something of an international man of mystery, regaling Noelle with yarns of Greek isles and shark diving off South Africa. But no Pamplona: "Running with the bulls is so five minutes ago--too many weekend warriors." If there's not much real mystery in what will happen to Forest City, the ornament company, and Noelle and Justin, it's completely OK, as the cheer of the cast--and the season--will surely lift the Scroogiest spirits. --A.T. Not Worth The Money/Not Worth The Time To View It!!!!!
This movie is terrible! The acting is soooo bad!!! The dialogue is even worse!!! Storyline virtually non-existent. Couldn't stand to watch it for more that 5 minutes. Do yourself a favor & don't waste your hard earned money. Should have waited until someone had reviewed it before buying it. It is an insult to just about every other Christmas movie ever made. This DVD will be donated to the library.
Poor acting!
I gave this movie one star. If I could have given it less, I would have. The acting was amateur and the movie in general was silly. I could not find a redeeming quality in this movie. Sorry.
Waste of time!!
There should be a minus system when giving a review. I would give this sleeper a minus five for poor acting and boring plot.
