Customer Reviews
Looks sharp, easy to install.
I purchased this item for an LED TV I had mounted over a fireplace. The price wasn't too bad considering it was a Monster brand product, and they also offer a smaller 2 channel version of this for $24. I used the 2 channel model for the A/V cables coming from the tv and the 4 channel cover system for the power cables from my DVR and other accessories.
The item allows you to either glue or screw the tracks into place. Since part of the tracks show even with the covers on, I would recommend to paint these before installing. After the tracks are in place, there are enough clips to secure all of your wires into place and the covers snap right into the tracks. The package comes with 2 end covers to put over any junctions, but they weren't really necessary. Not included in the details of this item is the length of 4x16" making a straight run a little over 5 feet long. The package includes one corner piece and 2 end/junction covers and 20 cable clips.
I had received comments about the "nasty-looking" cables hanging off my TV, and with this cable management system, it looks quite professional now. I would have rated it 5 stars, if I not had to paint the tracks after already mounting them to wall. Also, if you choose to use the sticker mounting for the tracks, it will probably remove some of the paint when you attempt to remove it from your wall.
Uh, missing some info here.
This looks like a product I MIGHT want to buy, except nowhere on the page is there any information regarding how LONG the cover is! How in the world am I supposed to buy something if I don't have any idea how much of it I would need to cover the length of my cables? What kind of rank amateur is selling this product? Plus, the "description" of the product is a generic advertisement for Monster brand power management, and is pretty much irrelevant to the item being sold.
It's hard enough to find what you're looking for when you have to sift through all the muck on-line. Let's not make it harder by leaving out critical information, please!!
