Barefoot in the country3
First a word about privately manufactured DVDs--
Often, these transfers are of a quality similar to multi-film budget brands. The movies themselves are unrestored and rarely pristine yet still watchable (unless there's an inordinate number of repaired breaks). Extras are non-existent and inclusion of artwork or liner notes varies by manufacturer. These niche companies can provide a valuable outlet for movies unavailable anywhere else.

REEL ENTERPRISES is a Georgia-based purveyor of public domain movies, both classic era and modern.

BAREFOOT BOY is a programmer from the most successful Poverty Row studio, MONOGRAM. It's not related to the similarly named James Whitcomb Riley poem.

SYNOPSIS--
Spoiled rich kid Kenneth Hale (Metcalf) is sent to live with a farmer friend (Brown) of his dad (Morgan), who's been imprisoned for embezzlement-- a crime he didn't commit. While there, Kenneth, country boy Billy Whittaker (Moran) and his girlfriend Pige Bennett (Jones) visit a supposedly haunted house to hang horseshoes on the walls. What they don't know however is that that the actual embezzlers, Hank (Puglia) and Blake (Fain) are using the place as a hideout.
