Unobtrusive, and incredibly convenient
I'm not a neat-freak, but I hate it when the profusion of electronics devices I own result in an unsightly rat's nest of cables/wires/cords. I've been remodeling my home office, and have wanted to hide as many of the cables/wires/cords as I can. I also want those cables/wires/cords which are exposed to view to be as unobtrusive as possible. I've owned flatplug extension cords like this in the past, and have always loved the concept. In this case, I have a grounded cord (necessary because of the sensitive electronics plugged into it) that drops straight down to the floor, which I can then tuck under carpet where it meets the baseboard. The fact that the cord for this outlet extension is flat makes tucking it into such tight places, especially around a corner, is a huge, huge plus. Even if you're not as picky about visible wires/cables/cords as I am, I don't think you can go wrong with the purchase of this flatplug extension cord, especially if you've got a couch up against the wall, and can't get it as close to the wall as you'd like, because of a big fat monstrosity of a plug, or transformer.

Just what it says
Great for use in an outlet located behind a large piece of furniture; this flat plug requires less clearance, so the furniture can placed closer to the wall without the danger of bending or damaging traditional lamp, appliance, or extension cords.

Plug does what it says. Well contructed and stays in wall socket. Would buy this item again if need arises.
