British Paintings 1885 - 1939 includes 19 works by various artists, including Elizabeth Adela Forbes, Robert Bevan, Henry Scott Tuke and others. British Paintings 1940 - 1990 contains images of 32 works, by Euan Uglow, Henry Moore, Graham Sutherland and other artist of the period. Both catalogues include brief biographies of each artist whose work is represented. The Lowry catalogue offers illustrated monographs of 11 works by Lowry, together with a select bibliography, a biographical chronology and and a list of exhibitions of the artist's work. Each of the three catalogues includes a price list for the works represented in it.
