My husband and I are not what I consider dancers. We have 3 small children and not alot of time for going to a studio for lessons. I have always wanted to learn and when I saw the dvd's from Louis van Amstel, I knew this would be a great way to start learning the dance moves. With each dance being on a separate dvd, I was able to learn to really learn the dances and my husband and I were able to learn in private- right in our own living room. It made both of us feel alot more comfortable and it was so FUN! We got to learn just like the stars from the show and we have both lost weight doing it! I have always been a big fan of the show and now, I feel like I am part of the show! Thanks Louis! My husband and I have brought some romance back to our relationship and this entire dvd series cost less than one lesson at a studio! I LOVE my "Let's Dance with Louis" DVD set. I found Louis' teaching style to make learning so effortless, even my husband can do this with two left feet! About the Actor
Louis van Amstel, best known for 3 seasons on Dancing with the Stars, is one of the most gifted ballroom dancers in the world! Emmy Nominated for Choreography in 2007, Louis is also one of the most awarded and celebrated ballroom dancers with an astounding 12 championship titles! He is currently serving as Director of Choreography for the Dancing with the Stars Tour, and has appeared on Access Hollywood, Extra, T.V Guide, Ellen, Entertainment Tonight, ect, for his achievements on the popular hit show and his new much anticipated dvd learning system just released Dec 1, 2007. He has written, directed and choreographed his own broadway dance productions and currently owns VanDance, LLC. He is from Amsterdam and currently resides in Los Angeles.
