Cool little desktop tree
This Christmas tree is very basic, and works great for a desktop Christmas tree. The design is simple, being basically a four-piece green circuit board in the shape of a tree, with the 9-volt battery serving as the trunk.
The battery sits snuggly inside the tree, enough for it to stand up. When you want the lights to flash, just press the tree onto the battery to make the connection, and the red lights start blinking. It will hold itself down on the battery so you don't have to worry about constant pressure.
The circuit board nature of the tree makes this a nice gift for computer junkies or other engineer-types. The size is just right to bring to work for a little Holiday cheer. I got one on my desk!
