This is the momentary version, probably not the one you want
I ordered this switch the other day and it arrived promptly and in good condition, as always from Amazon.

The problem is that this model turns out to be the momentary kind of mute switch, meaning it only mutes while you keep your finger pressed down on it. Once you let up, the spring loaded switch moves back into the "talk" position.

This might be fine for muting out a sneeze or a short passing background noise, but is no good at all for keeping your background noise out of things during an hour long conference call.

This model has a white rocker switch. The regular mute switch has a red rocker switch. The manufacturing quality on both types seems to be quite suitable for long service.
