About the Artist:
Sinfonia Electronique is an international collective of European, Asian, and North American musicians who have again come together to interpret new musical works created by its members. Once more focusing on compositions by American musicians Richard Eppedio and C.R. Keyser-Posner, and featuring performances by a select group of kindred musical spirits from various stylistic backgrounds, Sinfonia Electronique continues to move forward while maintaining a backward gaze, ever mindful of those who have come before them and blazed an amazing trail of musical mastery, leaving a legacy these performers strive to keep alive in the twenty-first century.....and beyond.
Product Description:
blue Noise is the sophomore release by Sinfonia Electronique, an amalgam of electro-noise sound art that includes ten new tracks by this creative, cross-cultural collective. Stylistically-varied, the album cites as influences the early twentieth century audio innovation of Luigi Russolo, through the twisted genius of mid-century production pioneer Joe Meek, to the esoteric inventiveness of such modern avant-gardists as Brian Eno. blue Noise has been described as an abstract scrapyard symphony of sound.

Customer Reviews
Not exactly what I expected, but good
I purchased this cd based on other music I own by Sinfonia Electronique. The cover led me to believe this to be very harsh industrial noise music - it is not. It is somewhere between noise and experimental electronica. Some of the pieces actually have some abstract melodies and most of the album tracks have some grooves to them. Believe it or not for such out there 'music' there are some very memorable pieces of music here. "Neon Nocturne (ReImagined)" has some type of synthesized vocal part and is my favorite piece on the album as well as "Electro Ape" and "Microchip Malfunktion". I like it very much, because it is so different than any other music I have.
