Ok, for the price
I bought this from the Skil outlet, reconditioned. I think I saved about 12 bucks that way. Not a huge savings, but I only use it from time to time. The cutting is a little unsure at times and tends to move around a bit. Works for my purposes. Comes with a bag, no plastic container, which would have been nice, but I knew that before I ordered so no complaint.
I did cut a 3/4" plywood with it. No problem.

So far so good
I am satisfied with the quality and power it gives me. I am not a daily user, but used it about twice a month. I used it on both wood and metal, and it delivered pretty good job for me. I'd call it a good buy, even though it's factory reconditioned.

Works well
Works well and does what it is intended to do. Reconditioned items are usually a good buy and this is no exception. (I would be less happy with it if I had paid full retail for it new.) The description does say it comes with a case, which, in my mind, should mean a hard-sided container. The canvas bag that does come with it is not as protective as I would like but the saw is still a good buy.
