Product Description

Director Roger Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies, Noriega) creates a world of the very near future in which cattle, fish, and even the family pet can be cloned. But cloning humans is illegal - that is until family man Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger) comes home from work one day to find a clone has replaced him. Taken from his family and plunged into a sinister world he doesn't understand, Gibson must not only save himself from the assassins who must destroy him to protect their secret, but uncover who and what is behind the horrible things happening to him. The Sixth Day is the story of Gibson's struggle to reclaim his life and his family.

With permission of who?4
"Sixth day" is an engaging filmic project that deals with one of the several ethical consequences about the process of falsifying identities through the cloning process.

Through a very dark beginning a simple man realizes how his life changes and transforms when he has been cloned without his consent.

A very dynamic set of events will lead to a satisfactory end. An entertained film and nothing else.

To Clone Or Not To Clone4
A good movie with very sharp visuals and excellent surround sound, this was another entertaining Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle. The action isn't overdone and the humor is subtle. It also looks super on Blu-Ray. You can't say that on every high-def disc, but this is a good one (and at a good price.)

"To clone human beings or not to clone" is the question here and the topic of the movie. For one of the few times in film history, Hollywood actually gives the right moral message.

The film, however, succumbs at the ending action to the typical "Rambo mentality," where the good guys couldn't hit if they threw an H-bomb at them. However, most of the action scenes in the film are well-done.
Arnold's thick accent doesn't lend credibility to his particular role here but the villains in here are all effectively portrayed.
