Cheap, but you get what you pay for
PROS: Cheap, works (for a while), seems to run cooler than the stock HP charger

CONS: Power connector to laptop is very weak, mine gave out after only 2 weeks or so of use

OTHER THOUGHTS: Bought this to replace the stock power adapter that came with my 2 year old HP Pavilion DV5224NR. A new HP one was nearly $75 and a generic one at a local retail store even higher than that. If you need a charger temporarily, this is the way to go, if you need something more permanent, buy the HP replacement.

Does the Job For a Year
The price is much cheaper than the original, but you get what you pay for. Mine died after a year.
