This IS a cool tool!
Skil 3100-12 Skil X-Bench Workstation
This is a very cool work table that is sturdy, and sets up easily. It makes an excellent work station, however, the accessories are way over-priced. I would buy them, but the costs are inflated for what they are. It has a miter guage channel but I haven't been able to find a guage to use in it.
The table is very well built and easy to use. I like the cut channel that can be made when the top is adjusted. You can adjust the legs to different heights too.
The table is great but Skil would be smart to offer the accessories at a decent price (or in a package deal that was affordable).
OVER PRICED FOR THE ITEMS YOU MAY ACTUALLY USE
ALL THE CLAMP ITEMS ARE BASICALLY PLASTIC. I FOUND THAT I USED SOME OF THEM, BUT DIDN'T FIND ALL OF THEM ESSENTIAL. I GUESS I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT SOME OF THE CLAMP ITEMS SEPARATELY INSTEAD OF IN A BUNDLED KIT. THAT MAY HAVE BEEN MORE ECONOMICAL. YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK OUT THAT OPTION BEFORE BUYING THE KIT.
