Slow down and get the facts4
Before we all start ranting and raving about the lack of information about this product, try clicking on the link contained in the text "Processing takes an additional 4 to 5 days for orders from this seller.
Ships from and sold by Samsung Extended Service Plan."

It takes you to additional information, and it includes an 800 number you could call to ask questions. There is also a faq, and the name of the company doing the underwriting for Samsung.

For the reviewer who questioned why you would need this if Samsung products are reliable, (1) Large Screen HDTVs are all very complex and not quite as robust as we might like them to be, (2) They are very expensive to repair. So when you consider risk, reward (exposure), and total value of the item being protected, this may be one of those rare instances when buying insurance on a product makes sense, although I am generally opposed to these things as they usually go unused and represent pure profit for the seller.

I hope this all helps someone - Amazon does need to make the info easier to find, and it would be very helpful to have the actual text of the agreement available for viewing.

Quit complaining!4
I have read through most of the reviews here and their complaints are a joke. First off, the fact that it overlaps the first year with the manufacturer warranty. You're absolutely right, it does go along with the manufacturer warranty but what I also see is people acting like it's to no benefit. The most recent reviewer was from Florida, as am I and they were complaining about this same issue. This warranty adds surge protection towards your television as the manufacturer warranty does not. When living in Florida, to me that is a great add-on to have. You have no idea how often the power flickers or goes out because of surges in the area. That could cause some serious damage to a television and then what would you do when it wasn't covered in the manufacturer warranty? Secondly, the fact it takes so long to arrive in the mail. They can also email you a copy, but regardless, who cares how long it takes? It's just going to be stuffed in a drawer somewhere anyways and it's not like they won't have your information on file if something did go wrong with your television before it arrived. And thirdly, it is high priced, and it is usually just a safeguard and a lot of times won't be needed. I get warranties on all my high priced items and a lot of times I don't need them. There's just those few occasions I do, and it makes it all worth it to me to have my products repaired or replaced then having to buy a new one. Would you spend two-hundred dollars to ensure you won't have to spend another 1500-2000 to replace your television in the next 3-5 years? I know I would. This might not be too relevant to "this" warranty but I had an extended warranty on my laptop, a wire was knocked loose between the board and the lcd, and they replaced the whole screen for me. You tell me that you wouldn't appreciate having a brand new screen if it broke after a year or two. To me, this warranty is worth it.

Better than WorstBuy5
I purchased and then returned a floor model Samsung 46" 71 series TV. WorstBuy's warranty is pretty much the same as this, only it costs more! It was $299.

I'll be picking up a new Samsung unit and this warranty. Save money on the warranty, and the TV itself by getting it on Amazon!
