"Featured" guitar is a joke!1
I purchased this doll online as a Christmas present for my daughter. She doesn't really care about the story, but wanted to have a prince for her princesses. However, her favorite quality of this particular prince is his guitar. I figured that it was a great choice, especially since the description states that the doll, "features Ian's gem guitar." So I was expecting something more than very thin cardboard, attached to the packaging, with no real way for it to be held or played with by the doll. Now I'm not sure if I should still give it to her and risk possible tears on Christmas morning when she discovers the guitar was basically a scam, or try to talk her into choosing a different prince to accompany her princesses and return this one. I'm very disappointed that I should even have to be making this choice. Shame on Mattel for marketing it in this manner when it would have cost so little to have done it right!

Plane Ken3
I got it for my 4yr. old daughter this Christmas. He completed the Diamond Castle Group but that didnt mean that he was really needed. My daughter wasnt really impressed by him or his paper guitar. My advice is that only if you are a die hard fan of Ken and really need him for your collection, you might be better off without it. Save yourself some money.

Ian needs Liana with him.4
My 3 year old loves these barbies. She has carried them to our families' houses since Christmas and only plays with them together. She has the boy doll from the movie dance with Liana and puts their hands together and holds them there to make them dance (at least they are far apart) and they are always "talking" to each other. The guitar in the picture is not real. Just cardboard. It would have been nice to have a real guitar. His pants are made of cheap nylon that stop at the boots. Still like it. Works well.
