Customer Reviews

Poor Saw2
I've never liked this saw. Had it for two years. The girlfriend has a $30 10 Amp Skil that cuts better. I've recently bought a Milwaukee that is of course far superior, so the Ryobi is my backup now.. I've tried different blades on it, but it still cuts poorly and slow. It seems underpowered and the blade has a tendency to bind. It sounds like a hundred tin cans banging together when you fire it up... not the sound of quality.

Good things about the saw: Decent adjustments. It will make a decent cut if you're used to it. The case is good.

Bad things about the saw: Underpowered, pulls to the right as blade enters the work every time, pretty small shoe.

If you want cheap look to Skil or GMC. If you want a nice saw that will last look to Milwaukee, Makita, Hitachi, DeWalt, Bosch, or a better Skil. I've got other Ryobi tools that are good for the price, but this isn't one of them.

I am very happy with all aspects of my recent purchase. I am looking forward to making many more in the near future.
