Poor design of USB base
I put it into my netbook USB port, turned light on, worked fine. When I pulled the unit out of the USB port, the base split in two along the seam that you can see in one of the photos above. The USB connector and the attached wires spilled out, thus rendering the item useless. Poor design of the base given its intended use.
Great light - very bright.
Very bright! Nice flexibility in neck - not too loose, not too stiff. Nice option to go with the clip or plug in to USB. I bought 5 of these, 2 were defective - that is the reason for 4 stars. Good product, but quality may be an issue.
Amazon handled defective units quickly and for free, that should boost confidence.
LOVE IT!!!!
My entire family LOVES the Flex Neck Reading lights. My kids use them at night and love their sports themed lights. They are so easy to use and incredibly ligth weight. This latest USB Flex Neck Reading Light is a continuation of their wonderful ideas. I can work on my lap top in bed while my husband is sleeping! I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
