Customer Reviews
The classic live Guess Who album made even better by great remastering and bonus tracks to boot!!!
What else can I say,This is a great live Guess Who album made even better by six bonus tracks nearly doubling it in length!!! The original album only had 7 tracks but this great reissue expands the total to 13 cuts for a more complete Guess Who live experience, add to that the awesome remastering and cool liner notes and you have one great package, and besides that it's cheap too(I mean the price tag,not the content,I picked this up brand new for less than five bucks!)This is one time that bonus cuts actually make the album better(The Elton John "Here and There" 2 disc set is another great example!),theres no filler here, just great Guess Who in concert!!! The Guess Who "Live At The Paramount" rocks!!! Two thumbs up! Way up! A+
Guess Who should be in the Rock Hall of fame???
This live set Rocks!!..simply stated. Why were the bonus tracks left off the original?("these eyes", "no time")beats the hell outta me, I guess Buddah records could have originally issued this as a double album. The Guess Who prove on this live outing why they should be in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, what are those pin heads who do all the nomimations thinking? This live album represents the finest qualities of classic rock. Rock on Guess Who..let that true mother nature take control!!
Rockin'
This album makes you feel as if you were AT the Paramount during the concert - it has a great live sound. The guitar solos on "Pain Train" and "American Woman" are what 70s rock was all about. Burton and the boys sound a little wasted at times, but they knew how to power up a stage. Guess Who fans will love this one.
