A collection of esoteric, mature manga not related to any anime series, Pulp brought to America such manga as Banana Fish (shoujo, which often surprises American readers), Dance Till Tomorrow, and Voyeur. Contributors from inside the manga industry published columns in Pulp on Japanese pop culture, live-action films, music, featuring criticism and social commentary from both sides of the ocean.
