Common Five Star Reaction
This album truly shimmers from beginning to end. Purchasing after hearing "Explode", I was hopeful that there was more to this band than a one-hit punch. Surprisingly, each song is sugar to the ears, blending electronica and rock, while adding just a hint of sweetener to each song. The hooks are huge, and the vocals are as alluring, gritty, and downright sexy. There's a tragic longing to each of these songs, creating the electrical mood often experienced with a first love, and inherently, first heartbreak. It's nice to hear an album that just flows great from one song into the next. Definately worth the purchase.
AMAZING!!!!
OMG this cd is amazing!!!!!! If you haven't listened to Uh Huh Her now is the time to start!!!! The sounds of Camila Grey and Leisha Hailey blend well for a unique sound all their own. The cd is a well rounded album and showcases what these girls are made of!!! Would totally recommend this cd to everyone!!!!
You have to hear this
I stumbled across these artists quite by accident. I listened to this album one song at a time as I could find them on you tube, their myspace page and mtv.com. I was hooked, bought it and love it !
Real talent here, two ladies who do it all. My first thought, seconds into the first song was ABBA, after a few songs I decided to 'Take a Chance...' on them, bought the cd.
Great music here, I'm gonna watch these two and hope they play a venue near me soon. I'll be there!
John
