I am satisfied
This is great for my laptop and mp3 player. I don't like wear the earplug all day long, so I bought this speaker as a substitution. It's good for mp3 music and movie.

The power is not big enough for a family living room, but big enough for my apartment bedroom. The speaker do have some background noise (I can only hear that with my left ear), but I think it is good enough for a $20 speaker system.

btw, the shipment is very fast.

Great speakers for a great price!
I bought these speakers a couple of weeks ago for my portable mini home entertainment system, and they sound great. They are bigger than they look in the pictures, and they aren't as portable as I would have liked, but the great sound more than makes up for the size and weight. They're probably the best $30 I've ever spent.

They do what they need to do!
I have to agree with the previous reviewer - these simple but great sounding speakers were a true bargain at their sale price of just under thirty bucks w/ free S.S. shipping!

Please note that I have zero experience with la-de-da high end, expensive [i.e. over thirty bucks] speakers, so don't take my comments as being an expert review. However if you are looking for a good value, good sounding plug and play set of simple computer speakers you can't go wrong with these.

Just don't make the mistake I did and sit there like a dweeb for 30 minutes trying to get them to make a sound with the controller's "mute" switch in the "off" position. It was a struggle, but I flipped my logic, switched the mute setting to "on", and the darn things started tooting. Oh well.

Ultimately - would I spend the current asking price for these? No, but then I wouldn't spend forty-six on ANY speakers, let alone computer speakers. Don't get me wrong, I love music [over 700 CDs] but a search for the perfect sound would be frustrating, pointless and never-ending. Cheap and cheerful is the way to go - leave the time, money and effort for the important stuff like faith, family & friends!
