Album Description
Mercury Nashville's super duo Sugarland will release their third studio album entitled, Love On The Inside, July 29. Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush co-wrote all tracks and have teamed up with Byron Gallimore again to produce.
Sugarland premiered the album's debut single "All I Want To Do" live on the Academy of Country Music awards. The single is available at Amazon MP3.
People en Español
Jennifer Nettles’ voice is unmistakable: energetic, ferocious, and joyful. You can’t ask for anything better when it comes to this country band’s third album. Songs like "All I Want to Do" and "It Happens" are more upbeat than Sugarland’s previous efforts, while "Keep You" and especially "Take Me As I Am" stray from the genre to evoke the spirit of Heart. --Ernesto Sánchez (People en Español

From the Artist
"We've been playing some of the new songs during our live shows," says lead singer Jennifer Nettles. "The fans have been so responsive. We couldn't wait to get the whole album to them. I am more excited about this album than any other that I've recorded thus far," continued Nettles. "It is special to us and has a lot of emotion, heart, laughter, tears and love on the inside!"
"Love On The Inside is just that...it is a recording full of love," Kristian Bush says. "It's in the strings and wood of the instruments, in the vocal chords, in the hearts that beat behind them and in the words that flood out through them into microphones. Our hope is that new Sugarland fans and old ones alike will hear this album and feel like the soundtrack to their life is magically playing in front of them."

Get the other edition
This is a good album, but if you're thinking that the "fan edition" might just have extra crap on it, guess again. Sugarland actually made some odd decisions about which tracks to relegate to the "fan edition" and some of the tracks that are extras are actually better than some that made the cut for the "real" album. The first three "extras" are much better than "All I Want to Do" (yeah, I know it's the single), the juvenile "It Happens" and the bonus-material-if-there ever-was-one, "Steve Earle." Do yourself a favor and pick up the "Deluxe Fan Edition" while it's still around rather than settle for this one, which is good, but has some questionable choices.
Another great Sugarland CD
This is yet another wonderful CD from Sugarland... Songs that are fun to sing along to and songs about real life as well... I recommend it to everyone! =)
Get the Deluxe Fan Edition if you can
While still not as good as the first CD (I preferred Sugarland as a trio rather than the current duo), this is still a pretty darn entertaining CD. I keep it in my car to listen to on long drives.
"It Happens" is getting a lot more airtime recently, and it is such a great song for those days when it seems nothing is going wrong. The first time I heard the song, I cracked up realizing there is a "Shhh" right before It Happens. Singing along with this song on the drive home after a stressful day at work means that I am in a much better mood by the time I walk through the front door. It's a great song for rolling down the windows and driving.
The Deluxe Fan Edition is much better than just the regular version. The extra tracks are a treat. They cover Matt Nathanson's "Come on Get Higher" and Jennifer Nettles voice suits the song very well.
This isn't the type of CD that will produce songs for the ages like George Straight, but it is a very entertaining bit of today's country.
