Customer Reviews

Nice hard shell case for your EnV2! 5
This is a nice snap on hard case that fits snug, feels smooth, and just works. With the case on the phone the memory card, charging\data cable, and earplug ports are all easily accessible.

It was between this one and the clear one, but I thought this black one would feel better, and not so plasticky. Doesn't make the phone much more bulkier.

The square in the back of the case is for the included removable belt clip. There is a screw which attaches to a nut which the clip slides onto.

There is no plastic screen protector over the screens or keypads.

Overall I am very pleased and have piece of mind knowing that my new phone is protected!

Fix The One Flaw...(here's how)4
...Fix the only (major - ?) flaw on this cover.

I love the cover except for the one thing I, and many others, have found to be a problem. The cover, specifically the front half, comes off easily. The plastic frame surrounding the key opening is forced to be weak and flimsy due to the design required.

This means that the retainer tabs to hug the phone can not do an adequate job.

I cured the problem by cutting a thin strip of doubled-sided tape ("carpet tape") and applying it inside the front cover half, at the bottom (near the "0" key). The aggressive tape holds very well. I have only needed to apply this one piece of tape (nearly 1/4" wide by 1" long). Others may wish to apply more pieces if required. If the tape needs to be removed, slowly pull it off and use rubbing alcohol to clean the phone.

I hope this has helped!

Good product to have for the LG EnV2, but I don't like the belt clip that comes with it.4
Note: this is basically a copy and paste of my review of the transparent blue snap on case for the LG EnV2, so the moderators can delete this if they feel it isn't a necessary review.

This product is specifically designed for the LG EnV2. I bought this case for my brother's phone. I also bought the Transparent Blue case for my phone. I like the rubbery feel more than the smooth feel because it has a better grip and doesn't slide on the seat next to you when you're driving, whereas the transparent blue one slides on the seat when I'm driving. However, the smoothness of the transparent blue one makes it easier to slide out of your pocket than this rubber feel one, which kind of hugs your pocket, sometimes pulling your pocket out of your pants just to get the phone out. So really, you just have to pick your battles.

When holding just the cases (this transparent blue one vs the rubber feel black one), this one is a little bit more stronger than the transparent blue one, but it doesn't make it any harder to come off of the phone than the transparent blue case, but the phone is pretty secure. So far, neither of us have had problems with the durability of the cases. I'll edit this if anything happens in the near future.

A detachable belt clip, not pictured, comes with this case. The belt clip is pretty secure on your belt, but if you have a bit of a larger stomach like me, then the belt clip will pretty much poke you at all times. Also, on the back of the case, there's a place where you can put a nob that connects to the belt clip. Before you apply the case to your phone, you have to put the nob on the outside of the case where the hole is, then apply the screw from the inside of the case. After you apply the screw, you can then put on a fuzzy, circular sticker on the screw so that the screw doesn't scratch the plastic of your phone. After about one day's worth of use, the screw was really loose and I had to tighten it again which meant I had to pop off the case from the phone and tighten the screw, but had to poke a hole through the fuzzy sticker with my screwdriver in order to tighten it. Aside from that, if you have that nob on the case, then you always have that annoying nob on the phone when you take your phone off of the belt clip to talk/text someone and it got very annoying, very quickly. After my first day's use of it, I decided to just carry my phone in my pocket. I don't want to have to deal with the belt clip.

All in all, because of the detachable belt clip, I'm rating this product 4 stars. If you don't want to get a carrying case with a belt clip, then this product is a perfect choice for your EnV2, and you may rate this item 5 stars. But if you're looking for a good carrying case that'll hold the EnV2 with a belt clip, you might want to get something else, but make sure it really can fit the EnV2 before you buy it. I bought one that was advertised for the LG EnV2, but it was actually made for the Motorola RAZR phones and was too tight of a fit for the EnV2. I like having a belt clip, though, so I may get another carrying case if I can find one that the EnV2 can fit in.
