A Frustration-Free Package comes without excess packaging materials such as wire ties, hard plastic "clamshell" casings, and plastic bindings. It’s designed to be opened without the use of a box cutter or knife and will protect your product just as well as traditional packaging during shipping. With the Frustration-Free Package on this toy, we removed a total of 2084.13 square inches of corrugated materials per individual product, as well as 33.4 square inches of rigid PVC blister materials and 12 plastic coated wire ties. We also eliminated five printed inserts, and one packer. These items represent a 1375.58 square inch reduction of waste materials. This item ships in its own box, without the need for an additional shipping box.

An infant motorized train that helps baby learn about animals through sung songs and classic play. Each train car has unique features. The engine captures baby's attention with a light-up smokestack. When baby presses the stack, the train comes to life with a sung-song about the animals and automatically rolls forward a few feet. Place any animal in the drivers area to learn more about the world of animals through 1 of 5 shorter sung songs. The second train car features a bead bar and a space for any animal, and the last train car features an overhead bar from which the monkey can hang. Choose from two modes of play: sit-at for the youngest baby, and motion activated for older play. The train includes 3 animal friends (Giraffe, Elephant, and Monkey) which can be used interchangably with the other animals available in the collection.

One of the best toys we own! Great for children of all ages.
We bought this train when our son was 6 months old, after watching him thoroughly enjoy one at a cousin's house. He loves it and we are thrilled that we bought it. He has played with it ever since, and even more than any other toy he has. Not only that, but every child that has come to our house has enjoyed it, whether they were 6 months old up to 9 years! It simply captivates children of all ages. This thing is super cute and extremely durable. Even after repeated abuse (beating on it, throwing it, standing on it, even puking on it ;), it runs like a top! It even runs great on carpet! The batteries last surprisingly long on it too. In a year and a half, I think I've only changed them twice, and considering how much it is played with, that is remarkable.

It is a noise-maker, with songs and sounds, but there is a low and high volume switch (as well as an off switch) and the low setting is very tolerable. The music is really great--anything gets annoying after it's repeated many times of course, but all things considered, these songs are very well done and I enjoy them.

Just a side note that has probably already been mentioned: if you get all the train cars and hook them up, the engine isn't quite strong enough to pull them all. And then, it may do better on a hard floor rather than carpet--I haven't actually tried that. Nevertheless, that hasn't ruined the experience for my child in any way. He loves this toy, and the animals all by themselves are enough to entertain for long periods.

One more small thing: you have to buy all the rest of the train pieces and extra animals separately. This can get pretty pricey. I have seen a few deals where you can get a couple of cars and animals in a multi set for a better price. We had grandparents and friends who were encouraged to add pieces for my son's birthday and Christmas, so it actually worked out quite well. All in all, this toy gets a A+ from our family, and I would totally recommend it to anyone!

Learning about animals is REALLY. LOTS. OF FUN (toot toot)
Whoever sang the songs that this train plays has really earned her dough. She warbles, she falsettos, she vibratos.. she sells it, man. She's a much more enthusiastic singer than the woman in the Fisher Price Fake Noah's Ark, I tell you this much. I really appreciate when someone goes above and beyond the call of duty for things that don't really matter, like singing a stupid animal song on a kid's toy.

The toy itself is good, as well. My son loves to throw the gorilla at me (I think the Gorilla is actually from the fake Noah's Ark) and my daughter likes to throw the little chimp at my face. It teaches hand-eye coordination and.. ?
I'm not sure. Learning about animals, I guess.

Fun Train Toy
My son has played with this train for over a year now (from the time he was one). He doesn't care too much about the animals, but the train itself he loves to play with - he pushes it around and loads things into it. As a parent, you may start to despise the cutesy songs about animals, but thankfully, there is a switch to turn it off or have it on a lower volume. This train has held up really well under a lot of rough use (outside in the dirt, water spilt on it, etc.). Good toy, good quality.
