Sunbeam electric blanket
If you can get past the initial "shedding", you are going to love it! It provides an intense heat at all settings.

didn't last a month
this blanket didn't last a month. it never seemed to heat very hot, even when up to the highest temp. and now it won't work at all - the controls keep flashing FF. i've followed the manufacturer's recommendations of making sure it's all plugged in correctly, and to unplug it and then plug it back in, it still flickers. totally useless.

another frustrating thing is all the wires from the bed plug to the controls to the electric outlet. it's a horrible medusa mess tangle of wires. we can only put the two controls on one side of the bed, which is useless for having two controls.

two good points are the red color is warming to look at, and it doesn't make lint.

Excellent Purchase!
This blanket has provided some great comfort during this cold, cold winter. It warms up fairly quickly (usually within 5 minutes) and spreads the heat pretty evenly. The controls are easy to work and I do like the auto-shutoff feature. The blanket does pill up slightly, but I use it under a comforter anyways, so it's never noticed. Also, the mushroom color was significantly less expensive than the rest of the colors. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a warm, economical blanket.
