Works intermittently, Costs a lot
I purchased this inverter to power a camper from 12-volt deep-cycle marine batteries. I had hoped that the hefty price tag would be reflected in dependable performance. Unfortunately, performance is only intermittent. When it works, it's fine - read-out useful, tells you current charge in the batteries, etc. But then, after an hour or so, nothing. Not the nothing when the batteries are low, that generates an error code. Just nothing, shuts down. Come back in a few hours and it works again. I tried calling the company but they clearly want you to log your problem via the internet, which I did, so that they could then clearly ignore it. If they EVER get back to me, perhaps I can amend this review, but so far it's more than two weeks of silence despite more e-mails from me to them. I'm beginning to think that with higher-priced electronic items, given Amazon's SHORT return policy window, it may be a lot safer to buy from a store you can physically take the item back to.
